Better children's heart services for the North East

Today the Government has announced £41.7m to improve paediatric cardiac care in our region as part of a £1.8bn package of extra NHS investment.

The money will go to the specialist facilities in Newcastle that provide this level of care to children across the North East.

Boris out and about in Guisborough!

It was great to welcome Boris Johnson to our constituency today ahead of the North East hustings in Darlington! Walking up Westgate in Guisborough, he had the chance to talk to local people about issues from Brexit to British Steel. His connection with the public is simply second to none.
