Last Friday, Simon enjoyed a great visit to St Peter's Church of England Primary in Brotton, joining the school for the service to celebrate St Peter's Day and mark the achievements of all those leaving Year 6 to move on to secondary school. Here he is pictured with Honey and Max, whose costumes were much cooler than his!
There were fantastic displays of singing and gymnastics and it was really good to see the whole school community, including so many parents, taking the time to support their local primary.
Simon extends his thanks to inspirational Headteacher, Mr Unthank, and the Chair of Governors, David Jackson, for their invitation to make this his first school visit as Member of Parliament to Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland.
He looks forward to developing what hopes to be a really productive and special relationship with the school in the years to come.
