Lots of you have contacted me wanting to know my position on yesterday's drama in Westminster. It was an intensely difficult day but I want to make one thing clear: I voted no confidence because I believe our country risks finding itself in an incredibly dangerous situation if the current deal is just waved through.
Responding on TV after the vote, I set out that the Government needs to move forward together and that I hope the Prime Minister can secure changes to the Withdrawal Agreement that are legally meaningful.
I think everyone hopes these changes can be secured - the Agreement as it stands is clearly unacceptable to Parliament.
