One hundred years from the end of the First World War, today I will be attending the Loftus Remembrance Day service. Over the last few days I have visited as many local memorials as possible to pay my respects.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to marking this extraordinary anniversary. Particular thanks to the teachers and pupils at Saltburn Learning Campus for Friday's tree planting ceremony, and a very moving service of commemoration of the 64 young men from the town who left and never returned.
