This week Parliament will vote again on the proposed EU Withdrawal Agreement. In the video below, I set out the choices we face.
My position on has always been clear: if the EU agree the changes we need to the proposed deal to ensure it isn’t a trap for our country, I’ll vote for it. But they’ve refused to.
As such, unless there is a last minute breakthrough, I will vote for the U.K. to leave on 29 March. This could lead to either a basic transition period (ie one where we don’t sign up to the unacceptable Withdrawal Agreement) or World Trade Organisation terms.
