Select Committee - Discussing Carbon Capture & Storage
Praising Job Centre staff in the House of Commons

Yesterday was absolutely jam-packed! I was proud to:

✅ Secure confirmation at Treasury Select Committee that Carbon Capture and Storage is essential for heavy industry on Teesside

✅ Praise the outstanding work of our local JobCentre staff and work coaches in the debate on DWP spending for the year ahead, delivering record high employment

✅ Speak at the launch of the Conservative Environment Network’s Manifesto alongside Michael Gove and Boris Johnson, calling for a range of ambitious policies including planting 1.5 BILLION more trees.
